State Botanical Gardens--Athens, GA
I just thought this bonnet was too cute. Aunt Anna got it for her when I came up to Ohio when Papaw passed away and I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. She's finally able to wear it. And it looks too cute! We went to the State Botanical Gardens in Athens because I was itching to put my new camera to use. I just knew Ashlyn would look adorable in amongst the blooming daffodils.

Good enough to eat!!!!
It was fun putting her in this pot and just taking a bunch of pictures. She liked it for a while. I think it was kind of cold in there. She was naked except for her diaper. Her nose is a little red from Jade wiping it with a rag. She had a snotty nose from teething. Speaking of teething, she's cutting THREE--that's right--THREE teeth on the top at the same time. Her lateral incisors and one front tooth. She's being a real sport about it too. Boy, we are SOOOOOOO blessed!
The family cat....Mo-meer.
I had to add the family cat (Mo-meer) so that he could get some recognition as well. He does get jealous sometimes now that Ashlyn is here. He's starting to warm up to her; letting her pet, pinch, grab, bite, and smack him. He can only take so much though--eventually he walks away. She likes to roll all over the floor, chasing after him. She's just infatuated with him!!! And he could care less.

Coming up on 7 months old!!!
She's sitting really well unsupported now and for a good while before she finally falls over and starts to roll around all over the floor, getting to where she wants to go. It's so fun to watch her! She's also starting to babble a lot. "Dadadadada!" "Babababa!" and "Mamamamam!" are only a few of the babblings of Ashlyn--the others are clear--a mixture of L's, P's, and S's. She growing before our eyes and I'm so proud yet at the same time, I'm sad to see my baby turning into a little girl.
