First time at the Lake.

Ashlyn just loved the water! She splashed and squealed and tried to eat anything that floated near enough for her to grasp...even the sand. I think I have a waterbaby on my hands.

I went out today and bought a little baby pool and let her splash around in it on the backporch. Even though the water cold, she still had fun....Thank you Lord, for such a sweet baby!

She's come such a long way and yet somehow it only seems like yesterday...sigh. I love how she can interact with me now and laugh and sway side to side with music but I truly miss those days where all she did was eat, sleep, and poop--I was always able to keep the house clean and the laundry kept up. NOT NOW! It's really hard when you're chasing her all around the house. She may only be able to do the army crawl but she sure is FAST!!!

This was the first time Ashlyn wore pigtails. Making them was a two-man job; Jade held her down while I tried to fix her hair. Well worth it though...she's so cute!

Rainy Day...

Ashlyn's almost 10 months old!!!!

Where does the time go, really???? My little baby's going to be a toddler in a couple of months! She even pulled up in her crib by herself, for the first time on April 22nd. Now she's learning to cruise the furniture. Scary yet I'm so proud. Ha!

I took these pics inside the house around 9 o'clock at night using some cheap flood lights from Lowe's. I'm too cheap to actually buy some good studio lighting right now. Maybe one day. This pic didn't come out too bad though--to be my first time experimenting with indoor lighting and shadows.
